Service & Warranty

General policies
1 Prices effective 2018-10-01. All prices are FOB Chicago, IL. Shipping is extra.
2 Specifications, availability, and prices subject to change without notice.
3 $7.95 shipping & handling for 48 states by FedEx or USPS Ground service. Express and international shipping extra. Some ARF kits & heavy items may subject to higher charge.
4 IL residents add 7.5% sales tax.
5 All international orders ship by FedEx Express or USPS EMS only.
6 Address correction $7 for ground, $12 for air. Shipping charges non-refundable.
7 We accept Discover, Visa, MC, money orders, & checks. NO COD. We do not accept international money orders.
8 Orders requiring air or express delivery must be placed before 11 AM CST to guarantee same day shipment.
9 All discrepancies and damages should be reported as soon as possible, and must be reported within 1 business day of receipt. Otherwise credit cannot be given.
10 If a box looks damaged upon receipt, report to the delivery driver immediately and contact your local FedEx office for further inspection. Follow all FedEx directions and contact us if damaged merchandise is being returned. This procedure must be followed or credit for damaged merchandise can not be given.
11 All returns must be in original packages and subject to a 15% re-stocking fee. Custom items are not returnable.
12 $25 fee for return check.

Warranty Information
Warranty claims for third party products must be handled with the manufacturer.  This includes Hitec and Castle Creations products.  Solely the manufacturer determines warranty coverage.  We urge the customer to deal with the manufacturer directly to reduce turn around time and shipping expenses.  Maxx Products does accept these items for exchange under warranty but in instances where the manufacturer must inspect the item, this may add several weeks to the turn around time.

Maxx Products International, Inc. warrants all other products.  All products have a 90-day warranty to the original owner unless otherwise specified.  Maxx Products will process warranty claims on a first come first serve basis.  Under no circumstances will an abused, misused, or otherwise damaged products be covered under the warranty policy. 

All items returned for warranty claims will be inspected prior to replacement or service.  Items must be returned to Maxx Products for warranty claims.  Items covered under warranty will be exchanged or repaired at Maxx Products' sole discretion.  For this reason, we suggest that the customer contact us directly regarding warranty claims on speed controls, motors, gearboxes, and other items which require in-depth technical knowledge.  All items returned must include a Service Request Form

Incomplete, Inaccurate or Damaged Shipments
Please contact Maxx Products immediately upon receipt of a shipment with missing or incorrect items.  We take many measures to fill orders accurately.  If there is a mistake we urge the customer to contact us as soon as possible.  Please note any damage to packaging at the time of delivery with the carrier.  Contact us promptly for claims on damaged goods.  Be sure to keep all packaging materials until a resolution is reached.

Service and Repairs
Repair work for third party products must be handled with the manufacturer.  This includes Hitec and Castle Creations products.  Items from these manufacturers shipped to Maxx Products will simply be forwarded to the proper party which may lead to an extended turn around time.  Please ship service items directly to the manufacturer.  Maxx Products International, Inc. services all other products on the website.  This includes Promax and Himax Motors.  Items returned for repair will be inspected and service cost will be quoted.  Items will be repaired once payment is received.  Items which are not repaired will be returned at the customer's expense.  Service turn around time is 3 to 4 weeks. All items must include a Service Request Form.

Our facility is in an industrial park.  It is not open to the public.  If local customers wish to pick up their orders or drop off for repair, please call first to make an appointment.  We do not provide walk in over the counter service.  Thank you for understanding.
